Abstract Artist Addicted To Paint.

I have found a spare few minutes to write my blog, Yay! Life has been even more exceptionally mad than usual, the amount of paintings I produced over the past few weeks is amazing, some fantastic commissions, I think I have a problem, I am so badly hooked on the painting, I have an insatiable desire to get paint on to canvas, resulting in some very fine art indeed, even if I do say so myself.

The trouble is that the more I do, the more I want I want to do. I need bigger canvases and a larger space to paint them in, I want to paint so huge that I need a ladder to paint the top. Anyone got a house that needs decorating? LOL.

Nice chilled out weekend though, my Mom and Dad got a new Labrador puppy, called Rebus, he’s only 5 weeks old, so gorgeous, tubby, black and fuzzy, so we went to visit them to introduce the girlies.

Saturday night was a quiz night fundraiser for the girlies school, that was nice, although hubby and I are incredibly crap at quizzes , but thankfully we were teamed up with a couple with brains so we didn’t come last!

We returned home to a delicious bottle of Blavod, which is yummy vodka made from the Oriental herb, black Catechu. I had much fun floating it over mixers and used some very sexy cocktail glasses, nice. Had a bit of a hangover on Mother’s day, naughty me, although possibly the best day to feel half dead as I got looked after by my wonderful little tribe, starting off the day with my favourite, a yummy veggie bacon sandwich, also flowers, chocolates, pressies, the works!

I have been meaning to put on some of my more recent photos of paintings for a while, unfortunately Eva has hidden the camera card so until I find it or buy a new one (I’ve got a nasty feeling she has posted it into the kitchen bin, her favourite trick at the moment) I can only add older stuff, there are so many photos anyway I don’t suppose it matters too much. Nathan likes to take photos of me whilst im painting, which is fine, but I don’t always look at my best when im concentrating, so he laughs at me, puts me off my painting and silly photos are the result. Check out ‘Beloved Eleanor’ she was very enjoyable to paint, I don’t often paint in detail so it made a refreshing change, I was listening to cheesy old Type O negative whilst painting her, all very atmospheric, LOL!
