I was sent a photo of the monument of Eleanor Cross at Geddington, Northamptonshire, which had buildings in the background and a soft skyline, so I had much fun creating this very striking, moody painting. The music I paint to is best described as electic I think, I change my mind so often about what I like. Today it was Rage Against the Machine! And yes Nightwish are fab. I'm personally a fan of abstracted expressionism. But this one I really like b/c of how well the shads of color transfer from each other to the next. hehe type O negative I love that band but I paint more with nightwish and Therion.
