Hubby and I went for a wonder about Bodmin Jail recently, its a great fun place to go, some very amusing true stories on the walls around the cells about the former inmates and what they had done (quite often not much) to deserve being banged up! I wont divulge with too much info it would spoil it , its worth a visit to see how dramatically our justice system has changed over the years. We all know its become softer on criminals, but it doesn’t really sink in just how crappy it is now, until you visit a place like this. There is a great little restaurant/pub there too with a comfy lounge room, i recommend going to the pub after the jail as the staircases are steep and possibly wouldn’t be too safe after a couple of pints!
They do night time ghost tours, I’d very much like to go for one of those, what a laugh? To give you a good laugh here’s some pics of my visit:

As kids we always went looking for ghosts and trouble, usually only found the trouble, but i figure why give up as an adult on the ghost hunt?
